Day two takes the form of discussion groups and field trips particularly aimed at exploring project delivery issues with other organisations who are delivering similar projects.

 

Day 2   – Thurs 15th March 2018 9.30am to 2.30pm 

 

Venue- BHP offices – 9 Social Economy Village, Hannahstown Hill, Belfast, BT17 0XS

 

  • 9-9.30am: Registration, tea/coffee
  • 9.30-9.45am: Welcome, introductions, people to discussion groups
  • 9.45-10.20: Discussion group 1
  • 10.20-10.45: Discussion group 2
  • 10.45-11.30am: Feedback from discussion groups and final summing up
  • 11.30-12noon: Tea/coffee (collect packed lunch)
  • 12noon-2.30pm: Fieldtrips

 

Discussion groups (pick 2)

  1. Public engagement- community groups, schools, volunteers & hard to reach groups
  2. Monitoring & evaluating-  internal and external evaluation
  3. Legacy planning- scheme legacy, 10 year management and maintenance
  4. Scheme Management- claims, cash flows, match funding, inkind contributions

 

Field trips with theme (pick 1):

  1. Running a successful volunteering programme (Visit Aughrim & Slievenacloy)
  2. Building paths and building partnerships (Visit Divis)
  3. Working with schools and communities (Visit Ligoniel)
