As part of GeoWeek, families are invited to join Belfast Hills Partnership for an afternoon of kids hands-on geology activities in Belfast Castle. Together we will be exploring how the Belfast Hills were formed through a series of activities that include making edible rocks out of biscuits and chocolate (delicious!), creating your very own ‘fossil’ sea creature out of salt dough, learning how to predict earthquakes using party poppers and even exploding violent volcanoes using fizzy drinks and sweets!
This event is kindly supported by Belfast City Council.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited.
