Wild Autumnal Gin Infusing Workshop
Join Erin from The Edible Flower, a chef, recipe developer and cookbook author who has been featured in Vogue and The Irish Times, for a unique gin-infusing workshop. In this session we will be creating gin flavoured with wild autumnal ingredients including hawthorn berries, elderberries, rose hips and blackberries, as well a range of herbs and spices. We’ll begin with a foraging walk in nearby Carnmoney Hill to gather ingredients, learn how to identify the plants and explore the folklore of these botanical ingredients.
After the walk, with a cocktail to sip and some seasonal snacks to nibble on, Erin will guide you through the process of creating your own bespoke jar of flavoured gin to take home with you. You will also learn how to make flavoured syrups from herbs and other foraged ingredients. We’ll make a syrup together and everyone will get a jar to take home with them.
We’ll also send you an information pack with everything covered throughout the workshop.
This event costs £40 per person. Booking will open closer to the time of the event.
