Covid-19 Response

Like everyone else, Belfast Hills Partnership has had to adapt very quickly in response to coronavirus COVID-19 and its implications for us all.

Most of our staff will be working from home from Monday 23rd March but will still be contactable via email [email protected]. There will also be a daily presence in our offices Monday-Friday to pick up post, phone messages etc. but unfortunately they will not be open to the public. All of our volunteer activities and public events are now postponed for the foreseeable future. Many of the public sites are now closed due to unprecedented numbers of visitors.

We are trying to coming up with innovative and inventive ways for families to engage in easy fun nature activities either online, in your back garden or local green space. Watch out for episodes of our #HillsatHome guide on social media.

On a personal level some of us have also volunteered to help local communities with assisting the emerging response schemes to give practical support and help to more vulnerable and elderly people in the hills.

In summary, we are still working for the hills, will do our best to keep you all informed and look forward to a time when we can get you all involved again up in the Belfast Hills.
