The Belfast Hills Partnership in partnership with the Woodland Trust are working to redevelop a new trail system on Carnmoney Hill in Newtownabbey.


The project is for the design and construction of approximately 600 metres of path, associated drainage, car park and further infrastructure and furniture. An outline design consisting of trail work specifications and drawings will form part of the tender documentation.  This outline design requires design development to progress to construction stage.


The anticipated contract start date is Monday 4th of May 2015 and the construction period is expected to be 8 weeks. The project is a Design and Build Contract.


Applications are invited from specialist and experienced Design and Build Contractors. Tender Application Packs will be issued on receipt of a request by email quoting reference ‘Carnmoney Hill Path Project 2015’ to the following address:
